I don't really have a title for this one

I can't believe this is offically the last day of our summer. I can still remember to this day the first day of seventh grade. And everything that went on the last week of our Ninth grade year. I've noticed lately that life moves oh so quickly you don't have time to notice your surroundings.

Yesterday was when I finally woke up from a dream. When at a friends party. Seeing all those faces made me notice that soon (too soon it seems) enough We'll be getting our drivers licenses, dating, and graduating. Just 3 1/2 more years and we'll all be going to be "adults." It only seems that I used to wish I could be older and go see movies with friends without that constant parent supervision.

And monday will be the first day of high school as sophomores. I hope I'll get to keep all my friends from Jr. High and make new ones. I also want to be able to become the person I want to be. I don't want to fall away from what I know is right. But now I have to say to everyone going to Davis...I will truely miss seeing all of you in the hallways and just simply annoying you guys.

with love, toodles,

Things on my lawn...

Okay, so today is/was Fathers Day! I woke up early since church starts at 9 and well I take longer than my parents think is nessacary. Once I got up my mom woke and told me to go to bed since it was around 6 am. She said she would wake me up. Wrong! The alarm didn't go off. I woke up around 8:45. 15 mins to get ready...I don't think so!
So once every one was up and ready we dashed out of the house and headed towards the car. All except me...I being the young responsible adult went to make sure all the doors and windows were locked.
Then I headed towards the front enterance. Then I saw a COW. Yes, a cow on our front lawn! Once I opened the front door and steped out I saw 8 more just standing in the middle of the street. The first thought that came to my mind was "What, where and how did they get here!" After getting over my shock of finding cows on the lawn I ran to tell my parents and then just as I was going to show them. (just my luck) They were gone! Vanished!! So they didn't believe like I was trying to be funny.
Once at church(since we were late) we sat outside in the hallway and then Mrs.Lacey a non member of the church that lives in my nieghborhood runs in gasping.
"Theres cows in the McAllisters back yard!"
And me with "I told you so"
So after all the commotion in the chapel we found out the cows were the Richins. They went and rounded them up. Now the McAllisters backyard isn't exactly what it used to be. Those cows were sure mad. And ended up destorying the shed they had just bought and flowers that had just been planted.(my sister was very upset about the flowers)Well, now I'm so thankful I'm not crazy. Someone else saw them too. And they're safe too!

Happy Fathers Day!
I love my daddy!!!!

Change

*Exactly 500 Words: I learned how to count the words a simpler way! If only I would have found out sooner this year( I'm proud of myself)
This is officially the second to last post for Honors English. I'll keep post for sure though. But I can only hope that you will keep reading and commenting on my blog.
When I think of this year, it all seems to pass by like one large blur. I see me getting ready for the first day of 9th grade. Changing my outfit over and over again. Freaking out since my locker won't open to only find out they changed the locker combination. Having my schedule changed and to find out all (most of them) my friends forgot about me over the summer and yet again changed themselves to make someone else happier.
During the school year I changed within myself. My attitude towards others, my busy schedule outside of school, and pretty much is the way I felt about myself, over all. Sometimes I felt crummy and other few occasions I felt like everything was perfect. That everything was in its place and it was just meant to happen, but then again things do change. I also noticed the change in others as well. Some people would get haircuts, start wearing make-up, become more out going, and some didn't do anything different. Now, all you that are reading might think I'm so kind of creepy stalker or something but no, I'm just a lot more observant than most around us.
Change. We all deal with it. Whether we want to or not. I just hope that I won't get emotional on the last day of school. Seeing all my friends leave and some that I'll probably never see again. And this next school year is definitely going to be a big difference in changing. I'm going to try to make new friends and not change to make others happy at what they want me to be. And most of all I don't want my friends to change who they really are. I think thats one of the most things I fear of. Going throughout high school without any true friends.
Over the years I've never really had true friends. I would try to fit in and change my perspective on things to view them like my “friends” did. But now I've learned that I should not change to make other happy or make them like me but just to be myself. So now you are free to make your choice to think and/or change you mind about what you think of me. Although this next year will be different I promise...I won't change.
