Never Stays the Same

Okay, I know I haven't posted a blog in such a long time but today I decided that would change.
Today at school in my so called "Honors" English class, (more like Drama 101) I was talking to my friend and we eventually started taking about all the people we used to be friends with, 7th grade, 8th grade, and basically our Jr. High life, our old crushes(mostly mine:D), and just having that simple fifteen minute conversation I remembered how much I and everyone one around me has changed. Whether we grew as an indiviual or sunk into the crowd with all the "popular" guys and girls. But before I move on I would like to encourage all of you who may be reading this to listen to Taylor Swift's new CD. But the first song that really I see my life in is the song called "Fifteen". Its a great song that has really opened my eyes up about high school and Jr. High when I didn't have much of a self-esteem.

Lyrics:
You take a deep breath and you walk through the doors
Its the morning of your very first dayyou say hi to your friends you aint seen in a while
Try and stay out of everybodys way
its your freshman year and youre gonna be herefor the next four years in this town
hoping one of those senior boys will wink at you and say you know I havent seen you around, before
Cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you
you're gonna believe them
and when youre fifteen
feeling like there nothing to figure outwell count to ten,
take it inthis is life before who youre gonna be fifteen
You sit in class next to a redhead named Abigail
and soon enough youre best friends laughing at the other girls who think theyre so cool
well be out of here as soon as we can
and then youre on your very first date
and hes got a carand youre feeling like flying
and youre momas waiting up and you think hes the one
and youre dancing round your room when the night end
when the night ends
Cause when youre fifteen and somebody tell you they love you youre gonna believe them
when youre fifteen and your first kiss makes your head spin round
but in your life youll do greater than dating the boy on the football team
but I didnt know it at fifteen
When all you wanted was to be wanted wish you could go back and tell yourself what you know now
Back then I swore I was gonna marry him somedaybut I realized some bigger dreams of mine
and Abigail gave everything she had to a boy who changed his mind
and we both cried
Cause when youre fifteen and somebody tells you they love you youre gonna believe them
and when youre fifteen, dont forget to look before you fall
Ive found that time can heal most anything
and you just might find who youre supposed to be
I didnt know who I was supposed to be at fifteen
La la la la la .. la la la la la .
La la la la la
You're very first day take a deep breath girl
take a deep breath as you walk through those doors.

So now... right my conversation my dearest friend. In seventh grade I had a crush and that lasted on and off all through Jr. High. I pretty sure he knows since one of my friends told him but yet again he's pretty smart so any ways I don't care anymore because like the song said I do better than that. Even though he still a great guy. Advice to all you girls and boys: If they don't notice you about after a month get over it. Kind of harsh(yes I know...) but it will leave you alot more free time to worry about things that can actually affect your life.

Right and then there are those people who used to be your friends and now you don't even say "Hey" nor "Hi" to each other or even notice their presence. And if you do say Hi there's an akward feeling and some slight tension may occur. But its sad to see how some of your so called "friends" had a different set of mind when becoming mega sport stars, drama queens, cheerleaders, and sometimes just decided to even change the fact that they didn't think you were cool enough for them. I know this sounds really random coming from someone like me but anyways just be nice to everyone around you since you don't really ever know who your friends will end up being.

I don't really have a title for this one

I can't believe this is offically the last day of our summer. I can still remember to this day the first day of seventh grade. And everything that went on the last week of our Ninth grade year. I've noticed lately that life moves oh so quickly you don't have time to notice your surroundings.

Yesterday was when I finally woke up from a dream. When at a friends party. Seeing all those faces made me notice that soon (too soon it seems) enough We'll be getting our drivers licenses, dating, and graduating. Just 3 1/2 more years and we'll all be going to be "adults." It only seems that I used to wish I could be older and go see movies with friends without that constant parent supervision.

And monday will be the first day of high school as sophomores. I hope I'll get to keep all my friends from Jr. High and make new ones. I also want to be able to become the person I want to be. I don't want to fall away from what I know is right. But now I have to say to everyone going to Davis...I will truely miss seeing all of you in the hallways and just simply annoying you guys.

with love, toodles,

Things on my lawn...

Okay, so today is/was Fathers Day! I woke up early since church starts at 9 and well I take longer than my parents think is nessacary. Once I got up my mom woke and told me to go to bed since it was around 6 am. She said she would wake me up. Wrong! The alarm didn't go off. I woke up around 8:45. 15 mins to get ready...I don't think so!
So once every one was up and ready we dashed out of the house and headed towards the car. All except me...I being the young responsible adult went to make sure all the doors and windows were locked.
Then I headed towards the front enterance. Then I saw a COW. Yes, a cow on our front lawn! Once I opened the front door and steped out I saw 8 more just standing in the middle of the street. The first thought that came to my mind was "What, where and how did they get here!" After getting over my shock of finding cows on the lawn I ran to tell my parents and then just as I was going to show them. (just my luck) They were gone! Vanished!! So they didn't believe like I was trying to be funny.
Once at church(since we were late) we sat outside in the hallway and then Mrs.Lacey a non member of the church that lives in my nieghborhood runs in gasping.
"Theres cows in the McAllisters back yard!"
And me with "I told you so"
So after all the commotion in the chapel we found out the cows were the Richins. They went and rounded them up. Now the McAllisters backyard isn't exactly what it used to be. Those cows were sure mad. And ended up destorying the shed they had just bought and flowers that had just been planted.(my sister was very upset about the flowers)Well, now I'm so thankful I'm not crazy. Someone else saw them too. And they're safe too!

Happy Fathers Day!
I love my daddy!!!!
